Dinner Discussion
His Excellency Ambassador Said Tayeb Jawad, Afghan Ambassador to the U.S., and U.S. Senator Robert Casey, Jr., member of the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee and Subcommittee Chair on Near Eastern and South and Central Asian Affairs, were special guests at an Atlantic Partnership dinner discussion. Commentary focused on how the U.S. and Europe could work together to assist Afghanistan during its transitional period. The event was hosted at The George Town Club in Washington, D.C. and was sponsored by the Center for Transatlantic Relations.
